I would like to take this opportunity to tell you a little bit about myself and why I’ve chosen a career in real estate.
I was born and raised in the Netherlands. I decided to move to Canada for a life changing and challenging experience. One of the most important parts in that is meeting new people. It’s something I enjoy very much and I’ve always been lucky to have been able to meet a great number of people from all walks of life through my work experience.
For the last seven years I have been a manager in service and sales industries in the Netherlands.
Particularly managing two top quality movie theatres, a casino and being a store manager of one of the largest mobile phone operators in the world, T-Mobile.
Taking care of clients needs has always been my number one priority.
As a manager I had to set the example and train others to provide the same high quality service.
When I came to Canada in 2007 I moved into real estate immediately, starting to work as an assistant for a real estate team until I received my real estate license. From there on things have gone very fast! I moved to a different, high producing, team in which I was able to learn all the skills of the trade in a very short time. In November 2010 I decided to continue my real estate career on my own. Outside of the team setup, I’m free to explore my own ideas and creativity without any boundaries. That’s working out very well!
The reason why I love this business is that it provides a great combination of responsibility, service and working with a fantastic product.
Buying a house is the biggest purchase many people will make in their lives. I find it a great responsibility to be part of that and to make sure this, sometimes nervous, process is smooth and totally satisfying to you.
Making you feel comfortable is always the goal!
A lot of my clients have felt comfortable enough to introduce me to their friends and family. Naturally, this is a huge compliment and a large part of my business.
